New Autogill Machine at Littleborough
30, Mar, 2009
Whilst other companies savagely reduce their capital expenditure, Elliotts continue with their promised long term investment programme with the acquisition of a new High Speed Cutting Machine from Hanbury Autogill of Devon, England. The unit is compact in design and incorporates the latest electronic guidance system to deliver excellent pad size tolerance and speed of delivery.
Elliotts is the UK’s foremost supplier of Food Papers and last year invested over £1.4 million in a State of the Art Lamination Plant in Littleborough, Lancashire.
Commenting, Matt Hankins MD said “This is another sign of Elliotts long term commitment to the Food Industry and our growing order book at the centre of the UK’s ‘stay at home’ market”.

Microwavable and Ovenable Combined Pad
23, Sep, 2008
Elliott Absorbent Products Ltd are proud to announce the launch of the Worlds First Microwavable and Ovenable Combined Pad the DRYLINE DUO. The DRYLINE DUO has been launched to satisfy the needs of Chilled Food Packers who need an absorbent capable of being heated by conventional ovens or microwaved within the tray. Available at launch in pad or reel format in a standard 2700ml and 4000ml absorbency, the DRYLINE DUO uses a non-stick heat resistant barrier film and a propriety bonding that is capable of withstanding over 200°C for one hour + or 10 minutes full power microwaving. The concept is timely, comments Matt Hankins MD, "DRYLINE DUO, offers multiple application use across a variety of tray substrates in the growing Ready Meal Sector at an attractive saving when compared to existing aluminium film coated options".
